can griffin make an iTrip mini to work with the new iPod shuffle in a price range that will work?

it would be a cool looking little add on i bet

Hate to have load iTrip frequencies, small as they are, on the shuffle. Still, I guess you could use the one for the mini, if you really needed to. Plus, you'd have to have it on linear play so it doesn't shuffle frequencies. And finding the right station would take some time, unless you just created an album list with the 1 or 2 frequencies you plan to use.

Looking at the pics, I don't see the extra little hole on the top for power. Without that it's not possible.

It has a headphone jack, but not a power hole. Normal iPods have a second little hole next to the headphone jack from which the iTrip draws its power. The Shuffle doesn't have this.

They'll probably make a smaller one were you can change the broadcast frequency be pressing a button on the iTrip - It could also easily run off a AA battery if they designed it like the AA battery adapter for the Shuffle.

I think the hedline of the thread is misleading. It suggests one is coming soon. If so, link? If not, it's just a thought that one should be coming soon (though I think you might as well stick with a Mini or iPod for that purpose).

Instead of "iTrip shuffle coming soon" it should be "iTrip shuffle coming soon?". That'd help a bit.
