I cannot download things in safari. I.e. Commercials or updates. I have to go over to IE to accomplish this. Is there a setting I have wrong?
For example soccorcommercials.com appears to be a mac site yet iit keeps saying download failed see activity screen, and that just says canceled.
Any ideas?

How are you trying to download? Try using the option key when you click on the link. Then go to the Downloads window and see what happens. If that fails, try the "right-click" method and save as ...

Also, make sure you know where the items are going to. They may be downloaded but in different folders.
