candybar is great for creating the iContainer set. You can then drop the iContainer on SS2 and it will be in the icons list. "Apply" and everything is happy.

My first Mac mini fully custom shot.
The HD icons are from the Matrix Rebooted icon set. The chair is the main HD, the MiniDiscs are my Backup and the two Jujitsu cards are my "Filing Cabinet". The bottom one is made by me. That's the iBook's HD. The iBook has been demoted to "Lounge Browser".
The Trash icon is also from Matrix Rebooted. I just liked how much more like a trash can it actually looks.
The Dock on the left as usual is hidden by click of mouse button 5. I'm going for colorful this time. I'll have to figure out some other place to put Natalie.
I forget where the desktop is from, but it's a link on one of the other 160+ pages. It's customized as are all my currently rotating images to fit my screen.
The Theme is SoftProPlasticWashed. I like this theme, but I do not like the iTunes part. I was using Milk and LOVED the iTunes portion. Is there any way to transplant just the iTunes part into Washed?

I've had that MS mouse since my PC days (Speakers too) and am looking to replace it. But for now, I just had to dump that crappy Wacom "Mouse" they throw in with the tablet.
My updated picture will probably have a Logitech or something. Though I was reaqlly hoping they'd have a nice 8 buttoned wiireless rechargablee mouse in white or silver to match.
And anyone wanna recommend me some speakers that are cheap, don't look like crap and hopefully are powered by the computer?

check out dreamhost's cheapest plan. If you use promotion code 777, you get all that for 9.99 (or around there) for the entire year. Thats 120gigs of xfer a month, 2.4 gigs of space, php, mysql, etc, for one year for 9.99. Not 9.99 a month, 9.99 for the entire year. IF you don't feel like paying for that, I'll host it for you.

And it's gone now. I'm using a Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse. "Optical is Obsolete".
'Tis pretty cool. 8 buttons and side scrolling. Rechargable.

The apple icon looks wierd with the yellow outer glow. Other than that, it is flawless.

Dragthing... worth every bit of $29. Its kept uptodate - it has significant changes and improvements at no additional cost and when there is an 'upgrade' to version change the upgrade is really inexpensive.

Dragthing is a great application created by James Thompson. He's very in touch with his users. He has a forum where you can tell him what you want, what's wrong, show off your uses. I've had it since 4.x and have suggested many features, most of which eventually made it into the application. It's like the next best thing to designing your own app.
He only charges upgrade fees when a major release comes out, which is a few years between. In the meantime he releases many many smaller releases with new features every few weeks or months. It's great.
www.dragthing.com
Edit: Headers? Oh, spaces. The "Home" for example is just my home with a new name. The other folders under it areedited with two spaces before the name.

What's dragthing for? just accessing files, folders, apps, etc faster? Wouldn't launchbar be faster and cheaper? It just seems like more desktop clutter. I think it would confuse me a little. Icons in the dock, things in the dragthing... hrm where did i put my photoshop app... dock, dragthing, desktop? Please don't read this the wrong way, i'm not attacking the app... I don't think I fully understand it's use yet.

Download it and try it before you knock it, please. It can be hidden just so you know. That sidebar in my shot is not showing all the time. Only when I need it.
As for LaunchBar. Meh. Tried it. Didn't like it. Sticked with DT.
To each his own. I've tried them all. LaunchBar, DropDrawers, that Aladdin rip off (literally) of DT. None are as customizable or elegant. DT is simply the best. *cue Tina Turner song*

its a multi-tabbed launcher. You can group your apps and game and stuff in whatever appeals to you. Like the old Launcher of old. In addition, it can launch locations, servers, apps, anything you want. Full-scriptable and supports its own internal hotkey system that you assign so you never have to actually open it if you don't want to it can remain minimized, which can be a single icon on your desktop and it will stay that way, until you open it. It is argueably non invassive, not a Prefpane or extension, so yes it uses RAM but very little, and since it is an APP itself, it can be quit without taking out the whole system when it hangs (which in my experience is never)
