Longer time lurker, first time poster.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site for letting me see the light. I have just ordered my first Mac:

Superdrive, 128VRAM, 1GB RAM, 100 GB and .MAC

Now the hard part...waiting.

Thanks again for all the great info on this site!

Welcome...

The longer you stay, the more you will realize what took you so long to switch...

BTW technically it is a Al PB RevC you just ordered...

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that the 1.67Ghz 15" was a Rev. D. Or am I Rev ahead of myself?

Congrats,

satcomtim

I got my first PB at the start of Feb and I love it!

Finally, a OS that just works all the time.

Can't wait to hear review of your new computer.

Slighyly ahead of yourself... LOL...

The Al skin that is the current PB's were first released in the 12" and 17" models, at the time the 15" models were still in their older Ti skin. The 15" switched to the Al skin to match its bigger and smaller siblings when they moved to RevB, and therefore the 15" Al would technically be called a RevA.

Enjoy the machine, I too have a 15" RevC PB Combo in my household, I am currently on a 12" RevC. The new 15 has a very nice screen and the new backlight keyboard technology (compared to the older stuff) is awesome.

Welcome in a world where you use a computer when you need to!
