hello
i am a happy owner of the G5 Imac for 3 weeks
but needs help.
i have two program files ABC_cd1.toast and ABC_cd2.toast
how do i install it?
please bear in mind that i am new to the Mac world.
so step by step instructions will be appreciated.

If you have Toast installed, this will allow you to simply double clik the .toast files and they'll mount like CDs. Or you could just click the Mount button in Toast.
If you don't have Toast, change the extension on those files to .dmg. That should probably work, though it might not.

FYI:
Toast is a commercial burning software made by Roxio. It is quite excellent. It also costs money.
It should be available through the same channels that supplied you with the .toast disk images.

the finder accepts .toast files just perfectly... just click twice on a .toast file and it will mount
