well i finally talked myself into buying this card, hopefully ill have it in the next few days. anyway here is my question.
the requirements for this card says it needs os x 10.3.6. with my power mac i got install dvd's containing 10.3.4. can i use my dvds to install and then update immediately after the os install or will that not even work with the card installed? i would like to sell my 9600 xt to get back some money for the upgrade.
so how do all of you install? keep a supported card in until after the os is up to date and then install the x800 xt? or will i be fine using my 10.3.4 dvd's to install with the x800 xt already installed?
i also noticed a program in the os x forum called slipy that supposedly could slipstream updates with the install dvd but for some reason it wouldnt recognize my install dvd, i saw others also had this problem.

nevermind. i probably should have searched a little better. i found a similar question in a different section of the forum. apparantly i wont have a problem installing using my dvds and the x800 already installed.
