I've got a client who is moving from a iMac 1st gen on MacOS 9.1 to a Toshiba Laptop on Windows XP. This switch as been force by higher direction, and he is not happy with it... and has to switch.

E-mails and Contacts have been transfered from Entourage to Outlook, and now he needs his documents, but only as reference.

He's got a lot of Excel and Word documents to move from the Mac to the PC, thing is there's fonts missing, file extension missing, and more than 1 thousand documents to rename.

He can live with the layout being "scrapped", as long as the information is there..

Is there an AppleScript to add file extensions to filenames? I can process that on MacOS X at home..

If not, is there an AppleScript that would recreate the file tree by creating the files as PDF? I could install his fonts and work with that..

Thanks for the help!
