I know there are a few programs designed for this but ive tried a few and none really live up to what they say.
I'd also like to keep all my data like playcounts artwork etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

if you didn't have the songs on the mac originally, you won't be able to transfer playcounts.

what are the specs of your mac and ipod - model, etc?

my mac is a powerbook 15 inch 1.25 ghz w/ tiger
my ipod is 40 gb gen 4

i know you can transfer playcounts and such by using the xml file from itunes...or something along those lines.
i just need a good program that will allow me to find songs that are on my ipod but not in itunes and let me transfer them. There are so many bad programs that try to do this, that finding one that works is a pain in the ass.
