Some additional information might be useful here.
So, how did you try to burn the CDs? Finder, iTunes, Toast..?
Did you verify the blank CDs are ok?
Umh... just describe the process you use when trying to burn in a little detail.

YES, I tried with all burning programs (Finder, iTunes 4.8, Toast 6.1) and the same problem in both eMACs.....
And I did check the Blanck CDs... and I tried with diferent brand too !.
I installed the original APPLE DVD with the PANTHER 10.3.2 that came with the eMac, erasing all HD too.... ! and NOTHING... is soooo rare the problem becouse I have it in both eMac .....
Thanks !!!

Ok. What exactly happens when you insert a blank CD into the eMac?
Does it prompt you in Finder?
If yes, when you try to burn in Finder/other program, what message feedback do you get? The ones you posted here?
Does the drive spin up the CD to a high speed for some time and you get the message then or does it immediately giva an error message?
My guess: MEDIUM ERROR looks like something wrong with the blank CDs (gee, what combiantion-skill you have there, my dear Watson). Try more different brands, try a CD-RW and other stuff.
I'd be rather surprised if BOTH macs had the same drive problem.

You could always try to find some information on the Apple support pages and in the discussions there.
And you can try to contact your mac dealer where you bought the emacs. Probably he could help you (under warranty?). Good luck!
