We are only 1,493 points behind SETI.Germany now, and should pass them in a matter of hours to take the #5 overall spot in Predictor@Home. We are #1 in production by a large amount and well on our way to #1 overall.

Way to go Team MacNN!!

I feel like an idiot. A week ago or so i switch from classic seti (finally hit that 5000 mark) to boinc, and am running predictor. would love to join the teammacnn ranks, but can't find how to do so...little help? 8-) the join section of the team page here doesn't seem to have predictor info, and there's no link from the predictor stats team macnn page that i'm seeing...

You do it from your account page on the Predictor web site. However, just to make it easier, go to the team stats page here. You will need to be logged into your account, but then you can click the join link on that page and you will be part of the team. You'll show on the team stats, after you have returned some work.

Welcome Aboard. This train is on the fast track to number one.

We hit a new high today in total production for Predictor. Right now I would estimate we should take the number 4 spot in 7-8 days if our average production holds.

Please offer a moment of silence for the teams ahead of us.

Okay, that's enough, now crunch like crazy and let's see if we can do it in 6 days.

Shaktai inspired me to add my Mom's Mac mini to the effort. He's just like General Patton…

Every cruncher helps, big or small. Those mac minis can still give a lot to the effort.

Well, we are only 33,242 behind the number 4 team. We seem to consistently be outcrunching them by 17,000 to 20,000, depending on the day. At either rate, we will pass them within two days. By Sunday evening or Monday morning, we will pass the current #4.

That however, is NOT the good news. The good news is that the #3 team "Phoenix Rising" is about to be passed by the #4 team, FIU-SCS, so when we pass FIU-SCS, we will actually jump to #3.

Now that is COOOOLL!!!

Front page news is a good idea, if somebody can write it. Any journalists in the crowd? If not, i might take a shot at it. Be better though if we had a "real writer" do it. Better chance they might accept it.

Looks, like I might have some more power coming my way around mid-July, but unless my brain is befuddled, by my calculations we'll have reached #1 by that time as a Team, and even the extra power won't be enought to get me back in the top 5.

Didn't know there was anyone who could outcrunch Cobra, but macgeek4u, is tearing it up with his production.

We are now #3 in Predictor. Wooo hoooo!!! Great job everyone.

So, where does that leave us?

Team MacNN - 1,858,824.74 and as of Noon today we were crunching 45,387 per day

#2 L'Alliance Francophone - 1,993,951.69 and crunching 11,460 per day
#1 OcUK - Overclockers UK - 2,559,057.90 and crunching 7,922 per day recentl

Approx 4 days for #2
19 days for #1.

What Jeffreyloaf said...

Dang, it looks like everyone is out to make a liar of me.

We almost hit 60,000 points today. At that rate, the #1 and #2 teams don't stand a chance. I'm afraid my estimates for time to pass them was off. We will pass both, much sooner then expected. To heck with estimates. We will be #1, very, very soon.

Keep on crunching!!

I think L'Alliance is not interested in giving up easy.
Their ramp is probably too late though.
We are making some serious progress and I'm sure we can do even better.
