I got a used dual 1.8 a couple months ago, and its year warranty is up in November. I remember someone posting a link to an authorized reseller that had good discounts on Applecare, but I can't seem to find that thread.

I did find this site but it's not the one I originally remember seeing.

What are some other sources for cheap applecare?

Your link, LA Computer Company, has the best Applecare prices I have found of the authorized dealers. I have purchased from them with no problems. Other authorized dealers to check are Expercom and Smalldog.

Thanks for the info. I had never seen LA Computer Company before, so the recommendation is helpful.

I bought my DP 2.0 from LA Computer. Got Applecare in the deal when I bought. They're a good company. I was concerned with the amount I was going to spend and not having dealt with them before, but everything went smooth as silk and I couldn't be happier.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I've seen a ton of people here on MacNN talk about their good experience with the LA Computer Company. I will probably buy my next Applecare through them.

I just purchased an AppleCare plan off of eBay for $106 and there are two left.
