The master of the stolen base (he swiped a record 1,406) and speaking in the third person ...
Interesting article - they even mention the men with big video game franchises, and note them as such.

From the article:

"At 47, he's a currently a member the San Diego Surf Dawgs of the Independent League."

He is 46 years young and not part of the Independent League. The San Diego Surf Dawgs are part of the Golden Baseball League.

Come to think of it, where's Broadway Joe? He was pretty intriguing back in the day. More so than Brett Favre, certainly.

Favre's a great player and all, but the most intriguing thing about him is why everyone pronounces his name like that.

****! His 1980 stats are incredible: 100SB, 117bb/54k, .420opb. That bb/k ratio is nuts. More stats here.

Look at '85 (should have been MVP) and '90 (MVP).

Yeah, 90 was a sweet year better slugging and .439 obp. But the 80 bb/k ratio shows incredible discipline for such a young player.

There's a horrendous typo in the Deion Sanders article ("he played nine years in the major's"). Ugh.

Yeah, I've already proven (above) that the CNN/SI editors are not the best.

It's all about #12. Mmm, Serena.

I met #5. He's a very nice guy.

I don't really have a problem with the #1 pick. He's always been intriguing.
