I just reinstalled Tiger and purchased a new iPod, and I've been having a hell of time syncing my new iPod with iSync.
I've clicked Add New Device, but iSync says that No Device is Connected.
Are there any manual ways around this? I really need my calendar and contacts on my iPod for business

In Tiger, it's handled through iTunes. Check iTunes > Preferences > iPod options.

I just had the same problem - but saw that iTunes did the job....
But what is the deal with iTunes these days ? What happend to the good old iTunes that just played music ? Why must it now also play videos and sync my calender and contacts with my iPod ??
I don't get it... (but prehaps thats the point )

It was all moved into iTunes so it would also work on Windows.
