I love this thing , but i need a desktop , and i cant afford to have both . I got this thing about a month ago now , and its great. Its the newest model 14in 1.42ghz ibook. 512mb ram, 60gb hd, 8x superdrive , bluetooth 2.0, airport express. All the accessories /cords that came with it are still in the plastic, i didnt need to use any of them yet. This is in mint condition , and ready to go . All im missing is the box, sorry. It is still under apple care , and you can still purchase an extended apple care plan on it .

price is 1050.00 picked up/met in maryland , or 1100 shipped and insured . This model is still 1400 new before taxes, so i think this deal is nice.

The edu price for this laptop is $1199 plus tax, so his price is still lower than what you'd pay at the store.

no, the edu discount takes 100 dollars off, making is 1299, not 1199.

The lowest i can do is the price i listed.

I must be inebriated because it shows the original price as 1299, 1199 with the edu price, when accessing Apple.com.

I must get special prices!

Either way, your asking price is great. You'll find a buyer in no time. Good luck.

yeah thats weird, they lowered the price , but mines still 200 bucks less . I think I have this gone , but im just keeping it alive unless someone wants to trade. Someone offered to trade me a 17in imac g5 , 1gb ram, 160gb hd, 2.0ghz processor, BT, AE, so i think im trading him, waiting for it to finalize.

Your right, a refurb with one year Apple warranty w/Mass sales tax of 5% would be $1154 before shipping.

C'mon Matt, as a photographer, I would expect you to have hundreds of pics of the unit . Just a suggestion, but most buyers like to see pics before plunking down a 1000 + clams. It will help you sell the unit faster.

Good luck and bump!

I have no reason to lie. If anyone buys it and doesnt like that, ill give a full cash refund. now theres a deal!

It is not your credibility in question. Rather, call it a placebo effect if you will, but people like to see pictures. Every wonder why eBay auctions with detailed pictures tend to fetch higher values and why onine dating service profiles with pictures tend to get more hits? Call it a placebo effect if you will, but given the subjective nature of describing an object, a picture offers at very least an objective viewpoint.

In anycase, just trying to offer friendly suggestions given that you obviously would like to sell it sooner than later.

I'm looking at the refurbs for this same model at the local Apple stores tomorrow, so I'll keep you posted if I'm not satisfied with their conditions by tomorrow night. Also, did you ever take pictures?

Any references? Thanks.!

0`s and 1`s , i been busy and just forgot to take pictures, but i dont have to work tomorrow until 5pm, so i should be able to get a few pictures then. I have a bunch of references, ive bought a few items here before, ive bought tons and sold tons on the most respected photography forum around , www.fredmiranda.com/forum username -deermatt , i dont have much feedback on my ebay as i dont use it that much . The referbished ones might be in good condition, but mines like 150 dollars cheaper, and you will still have like 8months of apple care on it , and if you want , i could leave the 1200 bucks worth of programs on here if you want .

jane doe - i emailed you back , im just not sure if i have as much cash as you want
