I am running Tiger 10.4.2 and when I go into system preferences and click the "Sharing" icon I get a dialog with the following; "Preferences Error, could not load sharing", and an OK button to close it out.
Any clues, I did a First Aid on the disk to repair any permissions that were out of whack but have no clue where else to look.
Thanks in advance,
Robert

I'd try running Repair Disk.

I found some stuff in the Apple discussion forums about Apple Remote Desktop screwing up the SharingPref.prefPane package so I uninstalled ARD 2.2 and had a friend archive up his SharingPref.prefPane package and send it over. unzipped the archive, double-clicked the package, OSX asked if itI wanted to install it and boom, back in business. Unfortunately, I'm afraid to reinstall ARD 2.2 now.

You could try deleting (or temporarily relocating) any preference files relating to the Sharing prefpane. The only one I can find is com.apple.sharing.firewall.plist, though.
