Had my wisdom teeth out last week. I would say it's probably the opposite of all things fluffy and fun when the anesthetic wears off. And then all you have are those weak-ass prescription painkillers to keep you company.

Hopefully, yours wasn't anything that major.

I got Percocet 7.5s when I got my wisdom teeth out. I wouldn't consider those weak-ass.

I broke out in a cold sweat in the oral surgeon's chair. I was pale.

Screw novicane.. I had nitrous.

and... it was easy as pie. 4 wisdom teeth, same time, didn't feel pain at all. The Vicodin ES script I had surely helped. I filled the script twice.

Congrats on the free mouth-job.

Had some dental work done, never again. I don't care if my teeth start falling out, I'm not getting dental work until they can grow new teeth. Last time I went for a cleaning, refused anything else (other than fluoride). Using my own polisher and other dental tools, hopefully I can avoid going ever again....except for fluoride and professional cleaning when I feel I need it, I'm not stupid (hopefully).

Same exact sentiment. "Holy crap, am I glad I cant feel any of this," I thought as he brought the scalpel inside my mouth.

And to all you people that got serious painkillers, here's a big F-U. Although I will say that the dentist did a good job; there was no visible swelling, unlike my friends who all looked like hamsters.
