This has been covered in many others threads. Did you search for it?

Try restarting the PB. If it doesn't still come out on a reboot, try it again but hold the PB at an angle so the DVD slot is pointing downward. When it's rebooting, shake it gently (and I mean gently).

And next time, please search.

Last time I put in a DVD and it did not recognize it ended up breaking my drive. I am a repair tech so I tried everything under the sun but when I went into OF the computer wasnt even seeing that I had an optical drive anymore, like the disc blew my drive or something. Hopefully this isnt thecase with you since when it happened to me I had to dissassemble my whole computer to replace the drive (and open my old drive to get the disc out).

Good luck!

Nobody mentioned when restarting, besides holding it at an angle and trying to do a jig at the same time, hold the mouse-trackpad button down as well when restarting, which will force the computer to eject the disc when it starts up, or at least attempt to do so.

Holding the eject button on the keyboard does the same.
