Upcoming Video Game Wish List
|

It's that time of year when there's a lot of video game releases and going to EBGames becomes a weekly shopping ritual for some of us. List what games you are looking forward to coming out because with so many new games, it's easy for some of them to be overlooked!
I'd like to keep the thread as informative as possible so please, only list games that have a pretty firm release date and only list games for existing systems (or XBOX 360 since it'll be out soon). And no pissing wars about which system is better or why someone sucks because they're looking forward to a game!
Here's Mine:
Stubs the Zombie - XBOX - 10/4
Castlevania - DS - 10/4
Zoo Tycoon - DS - 10/11
Tony Hawk : Wasteland - XBOX - 10/18
SSX On Tour - XBOX - 10/18
GTA : Liberty City - PSP - 10/25
The Sims 2 - DS - 10/25
Ratchet: Deadlocked - PS2 - 10/25
Bust-A-Move - DS - 11/14
Black and White Creatures - DS - 11/14
Mario Kart - DS - 11/14
Shadow the Hedgehog - XBOX - 11/14
Infected - PSP - 11/14
Sonic Rush - DS - 11/14
(Whoa. This day is going to be busy!! Might have to take the day off! )
Animal Crossing - DS - 12/6
(

Well, IGN seems to think it will be then. I think EBGames also has it listed for then, too. Of course, it could slip but who knows?

SSX On Tour (SSX4)
Getting it for GCN.
Nothing else seems to be that exciting this season.

I'd buy a PSP if there was Halo for it. I know this is impossible to happen, though. Well, I'd also buy it for Deus Ex, which is at least possible to happen…

I think now that I'm working at best buy I'm gona see how much I can get a GC and DS for. Might hold off on the GC and just wait for the revolution and use GC Discs with it. But I figure it'd be fun.

Poop. Looks like Castlevania DS isn't going to be in store till later this week and not today
Double poop. I'm still trying to find time to pick up the Midway Arcade 3 and Capcom collections. Oh, and Sly 3 for the PS2. I just finished the new Katamari game last night and am still trying to finish Burnout Revenge (almost there!). I've hardly been able to play Ultimate Spiderman on the DS because there is just not enough time in the day! Damn it! I need to be a game reviewer as my full-time job!

Mario Kart DS. Placing my pre-order and buying my DS for it next week.
Initial reviews say it could be the best Mario Kart so far.

King Kong
Games I'd rather wait for reviews:
Perfect Dark Zero (very unpolished even from latest video previews )
Starcraft: Ghost
Metroid Prime: Hunters

I would like to see what the new Battlefield for the PS2 is like. I guess you can win money for playing on-line? Anyone hear about this?
As for shopping at EB games n: unless of course you want to be signed up for offers you don't know about. The word Scam-artists comes to mind.

Anyway, last games I bought were Tony Hawk's Wasteland and SSX On Tour. YAWN! So disappointing...that went to the used game store for credit the following day! Still haven't picked up Stubbs yet - not enough time to play if I did. Still looking forward to the two new Sonic comes coming out next week, though. Probably buy them and not touch them for a month

Do you want kids? Seems like your whole genetic string is made to make you want to procreate.... would you ever want them? If not, why?
Part of me says **** kids, they are expensive and I have a lot of stuff I want to do, and another part of me says everything is pointless if I don't pass on my genes.

I don't really want kids. I find them annoying. All they do is make a mess, ask stupid questions and cost every penny you have. Doesn't mean I hate kids, I like playing with friends kids from time to time. I don't want to change my lifestyle that much. Right now I am independent and do whatever I want whenever I want. I have cats, those are my kids.
IF i ever had kids I would want to adopt... a black girl.
I wouldn't want to have a test-tube baby or anything with my genes, I am not that insecure or care. Most people think by having kids they are making themselves immortal somehow. Ya right.

Wow that's far off topic. LOL.
As far as I go I'm just waiting for NHL 2006 to come to OSX......like by 2015 or something.

But when you're like 40 or 50, won't everything start to seem pointless?

But it's true. You're immortalizing your genetic code, the very blueprints for who you are.

Yippie. Unless there is my consciousness involved I don't care. Even if I was cloned with memory is makes no difference to me.
