I'm interested in buying an 8600 or 9600. RAM and hard drive not necessary. No rush but am looking to buy.

Remember, Windows is just DOS in a clown face.

I wasn't really planning on selling it, but I have an 8600/250 with XLR8 MACh Carrier G3 400MHz ZIF upgrade with 1MB backside cache. I know you said you weren't interested in RAM, but it has 512MB of RAM too (2x128, 4x64 - all interleaved). It has the stock 4GB drive, 24x CD, and 100MB Zip drive. The video memory has been upgraded to 4MB. I don't have the original "empty bay" front bezel. I just have a CD one (used to have a CD-R in that bay, but sold that to a friend). For the right price I might be willing to part with it. Here are some other things I have available that will work with that computer:

Voodoo 3 2000 16MB PCI Video card
Twin Turbo 8MB PCI Video card
TurboMax ATA/33 dual channel card
Another Zip drive
Jaz 1GB Drive
Umax Vista S6E Scanner

I probably have some other extras I can't think of right now. I don't have the original processor card (actually I do, but it's missing a resistor, and the computer does not boot with it).
