I have about 300 MP3s I ripped from CD using a program that named the files as track numbers (01, 02, etc) but did tag the ID3 files right. I was wondering if there was a prgoram out there that could rename the files using the ID tags in the MP3.
I do not want to re rip them so please do not suggest it.

uh, no. it lets you rename MP3s and files whenever you want. (it will only rename the files themselves if you keep them in the music folder though.)

The files are in the iTunes music folder. But I do not want to edit the ID3 tags, those are fine. I want to change the actual file name, in this case 03.mp3 to reflect the song it actually is rather than t he track number it was when I stripped it. iTunes reads the ID3 tag just fine, but in the item summary in the information window is still 03.mp3
