Not many really. You just have to look for people that appears not to care about what is going on in the world around them.

Haha, the American psyche is just great.

"I don't know where the hell they are, but we should bomb the fsck out of them anyway, because I don't like their attitude!"

Sorry, but when you don't know where the hell Europe is, and what that big continent down below is, you are not entitled to *any* opinions whatsoever.

Would work with any country, actually.

Oh well, I suppose I've just gotten used to the anti-US bias and bigotry around here. (Not directed at the OP, just at the "American psyche..." BS.)

Yes I know, I know. And if you say anything negative about another country, they will just say that too is part of the "American Psyche"

Even though they do it themselves.

You could still call it the American psyche, because Canada is in America

People say America is in trouble because of so many retards like this. But I say we're lucky not to be in worse shape with so many fsckwits running around. And let's not forget - each moron gets one vote just like people with decent IQs.

It's more than interviewing lots and lots of people until you find the idiots. It's also about editing. Most of those people are not as stupid as they sound in that video. They just took the parts where they said things they didn't know anything about and threw away the rest.

Jay Leno and Jon Stewart do the same thing.

I think you can selectively find a group of "retards" by simply choosing your location properly. In every city of any size there are locations where people who just don't care about anything beyond their next beer. Go there in YOUR city and ask the same sort of question. This wasn't an interview with a bunch of poly-sci grad students, it was a bunch of individuals who could easily be expected to not know where Jersey (as opposed to New Jersey) is, let alone what nations might be on one side or the other in the War on Terror. You can find such a group on any campus, in any workplace, and so on. And of course there's no indication of how many people they talked to overall, let alone how many might have had more informed viewpoints.

This, folks, is a great example of an editorial, using selected interviews to make a point-or just stir stuff up.

There is no country on this planet that is free of such ignorant idiots. Listening to those kind of people when they talk about world politics makes me either very angry or very amused, depending on the person's behaviour. The bad thing is that it is not possible to have an intelligent conversation because facts you state are meaningless since they don't understand anything at all.

If I were a praying man, I'd pray to God that this video ony looked so bad thanks to careful editing... someone please tell me that what we saw here was actually an extremely small proportion of the people that were actually interviewed.

EDIT: Oh God... I just saw the second video. I REALLY don't think I can go on living in a world that is really this stupid.
