Apparently, anyone who calls apple's tech support gets offered to send their MBP back to apple, as they call it a "defective unit."

Since it seems that all of these models are having the buzzing problem, is it worth sending my MBP back to apple, considering a temprary fix is keeping photobooth open?

How much does it reduce your battery life to keep photobooth open?
If it's doing what I think it's doing, it's just preventing the CPU from going into the lower power/higher numbered sleep states (which is the same thing the WinXP USB bug does), reducing battery life.
