I'm trying to decide between the Macbook 1.8 vs 2.0 -- mainly curious about the video card (128mb vs. 256mb)
I plan on hooking up my MBP to my TV. Do you think there's a sigificant difference in the 128 vs 258 memory? Doesn't seem like it's a huge difference. I don't know too much about video cards - I don't do any gaming on my mac.
Thanks.

No, there is no difference. The amount of VRAM and hooking up to a TV are entirely unrelated.

What type of interface do you intend to use to connect the MacBook to your TV [DVI ? HMDI ? VGA/RGB ]

I'd connect via HDMI or DVI.

To expand on my previous post, the amount of VRAM you want depends more on the apps you'll use than how you're going to connect to a screen. Motion users, 3D modellers, and demanding gamers will want 256MB, while 128MB is fine for most everyone else.

Consider the TV to be just a regular display then. The 256/128 decision is based on what you will be putting up on screen.
