Anyone else experienced any trouble with Mighty Mouse? Mine's worked great for several months but is now beginning to behave erratically. Sometimes it will not activate after the machine's been to sleep and I have to yank the USB cord, go back to sleep and reinsert it before I can use it again. Also, the right mouse button stops responding sometimes.

Weird, eh? Anyone else have any trouble like this...

all optical mice suffer those same exact symptoms, but normally after 2-3 years... (4-5 years if you regularly clean the lens, led, and buttons.... and don't abuse it physically for like... what.... gaming...)

i had a blue LED mouse (compUSA brand) that worked well for almost a year, until it started jumping from one edge of the screen to another on it's own, hella fast too...

i guess it's just time for you to move on to a 'real' mouse...

My mighty mouse doesnt have those problems. But the scroll ball has become gradually less and less functional, to the point where it now does not work at all. I've tried cleaning it, which sometimes helps a bit for a day or 2, but it soon craps out again.

I liked the mouse a lot to start with, but i'd not buy another mighty mouse now
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

Check if dust is around where the laswer pointer is. My MX1000 used to jump, and i thought it was low battery but it wasn't the case cuz charging it doesn't help. I found out it was cuz dust collected where the laser pointer is. Just wipe it off and it worked. yesterday it started jupming again, and yes it was dusta gain. wiped it off, and it was okay.

It wasn't jumping. It wasn't responding at all. The funny thing is that it's been working perfectly for about a week now. Go figure.
