It is an interesting package design. It looks like something that should hang in target.

Who would have thought a computer in plastic packaging that could, in theory, hang from a rod on a wall.

It's interesting how Apple view's their product as a more everyday commodity (like a pen maybe) which sells in higher numbers than say a car.

Does that analogy make sense?

Is it me or does the side profile of the wireless mouse pictured look suspiciously like a mighty mouse?... I wish they would hurry up with one of those wireless mighty mice, dammit how long can it take to shove a bluetooth module and a battery compartment in one!?

It's just you. The MM has gray tabs on each side. The BT Mouse has white tabs.

That's cool. Not enough to make me buy a Costco membership, but pretty cool anyway!

The XBOX 360 bundles for Costco were packaged the same way. Apparently they have some very strudy thingys to hang this **** from.

Costco rarely hangs things. They just cut a hole in the side of the bigger box they shipped in and put it, and the pallet, on a shelf. Didn't think I'd ever see a Mac in Costco though, will have to go check it out.

They've sold iMacs for a while. Every time Apple updates the models, the leftover old stock goes to Costco at great prices.
