I don't want my Mail to be wide! I need the preview to be below the list of messages so I can see both peering out from behind my Safari window.
Also, 99% of my emails are Topic Reply Notifications. A larger preview area would be overkill for me.

Unfortunately this hack doesn't quite work as in the preview. It moves the message panel to the right, but the list panel stays as before, ie. subject, sender, date etc all in a single row.
You need a really widescreen monitor for this to be useful.

hmmm... i'm tempted to try this out. 1920 should be wide enough?
but I always find myself reading my mail with a Safari window to the right side of it. ah what the heck, can always uninstall it later.

Does this mean you can move the objects in the iTunes window around using a plugin?
