ok I have final cut pro 3, and I am wondering whether or not i should buy this camera, I am not sure if it will work with my final cut. the hardware qualification page on apple's site says it will work with fcp2.2 but nothing about fcp3 I am not sure if it just hasn't been tested or if it is incompatible anyone who has this camera and fcp3 or if you just have knowledge about this could you let me know if it will work or not?

You shouldn't have any problem with the camera. I use a Sony TRV 20 and it works like a charm with FCP and iMovie (all editions). Good luck, and enjoy. You might want to look at the price of the camera though. The TRV 17 is the update of that camera, and it may be available for about the same price. Another thing is that I believe Sony may be releasing new camera's soon. Good luck.

nah I would be getting it for between 400-500 bills. which is pretty damn good price. thanks

I would consider using a DV tape recorder/player such as the Sony DSR-11 so would not over use the cameras tape head.
