Giant little girl puppet that creeped me out.

And, I'd love to punch in the face whoever it was that butchered one of my favorite Blosson Dearie tunes (in case you don't recognize the audio).

That is really cool IMO. Gave me chills.
They should've shocked the crowd and made her collapse in death at the end of the show however.

That is AWESOME! Yes it was a tad creepy, especially the ribbed tongue and articulate cheeks, but the whole effect was rather life-like. What was this for and what sort of collective put on this show?
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Those people have WAY too much free time on their hands. How about working on a cure for cancer? Or feeding starving children? Isn't there something better these people could be doing?

I don't know who it is exactly, just sharing the link from another site I frequent. The website is down http://www.electricpig.net...and that might be just the production company in the UK.

The motion was very lifelike...I wonder if they have headsets (the puppeteers) ?

edit: found it, they're called Royal de Luxe, it's a theatre group.

Here's some more photos about "The Sultan's Elephant" performed by the theatre troupe Royal de Luxe

So what if they feel like doing this? Some people like to make giant puppets, others like to post on Mac message boards on a Saturday night. Or were you just taking a moment out of your busy schedule of feeding starving children and curing cancer?

It is a bit "creepy", but a very impressive achievement. I think the "creepiness" comes from seeing something that's inanimate and not alive move and act as if it were alive. It's also something outside the norm. It looks like a human being, but then again it doesn't. It's something strange. And even if we know better, I think that has an effect on the human psyche.

To me it seemed like something half-alive-- like something with a mind, or some part of a mind, but not fully awake or conscious. I think this is an effect of the slow blinking and the limited expression on the face. But of course it's just that-- an effect. Anyway, that was my impression.

The puppet handlers were so kickass! Creepy? I don't like dolls in general but this one was very cute.

Plus 2 words: Upskirt Photos.

Large Creepy Puppet should be sung in the style and tune of Burger King's, "Big Buckin Chicken."
America should know the political orientation of government officials who might be in a position to adversely influence the future of this country. http://tinyurl.com/4vucu5
