I just purchased a new 500 mhz iMac and an Epson Stylus Color 777 printer. I set up my printer, selected my printer and selected usb port. (I forget the wording for the procedure being new at this) I then attempted to print a sample page. I got a message along the line of "Your printer is not selected. Please go to Chooser and select a printer."
I know I had done this the first time. I went to chooser and attempted to select my printer once again. My computer froze.
Finally, after managing to shut down, I restarted my computer and attempted to reselect my computer and usb port. It would not even show up to select.
What am I doing wrong? Please help.
Thanx.

Is your usb printer directly connected to the machine, or a non powered hub (keyboard)?
