iTunes 7/7.1: Why can't I get "View Browser" setting to stick for iPod

	when I try to browse the music on the iPod, for some reason in iTunes 7 the setting won't stick. every single time I load iTunes and then browse the iPod, I have to click the eye icon on the bottom and drag down the browser. this happens at home and work so I'm convinced I'm not the only one this affects... how do I fix this?
