I'm contemplating purchasing a Core2Duo MacBook Pro. This will probably be my main computer, replacing both a 12" G4 PowerBook and an Athlon X2 3800 desktop.

My job involves working a lot with Windows servers as well as Visual Studio 2005, so being able to run Windows is very important for me. Now I know the Intel Macs can run Windows natively, but how seamless is the experience? Does it feel "hacky" or does it feel no different from running a regular Windows PC?

Also, how well are the MBP's hardware features supported in Windows? Does suspend/hibernation/other power management features work exactly like a PC laptop via Windows' built-in power management utilities? Function keys? (volume, screen brightness, etc.)

Not quite as important, but does the Apple logo pulse when in suspended mode?

We have a whole forum for running other than MacOS on Macs, so I'll move this to that forum.

The MBP has a very stylish little light in the lid latch that "snores" when it's asleep. The logo turns off when the screen turns off because it's lit by the screen backlight.
