right i was just working on my mac pro, i litterally got up to go to the toilet, got back to find a blank grayish/white screen what has happened? i didnt wanna turn it off before asking on here, what should i do?

did the mac go to sleep?
(it happened two days ago with my tiBook, it went to sleep, and when I woke it up, it showned a grey screen)...
Were you in the middle of your work? (did you have any unsaved work?)

erm it might have been asleep i was reading something, i cant remember, i just cam back to find a gray screen, im not loosing any saved work, im gonna restart now to see wot happens

It may be your video card. I had same situation with my old G5 and 2 monitors. With one monitor everything was just fine.
