Has anyone used GIMP full time to do image editing? I'm trying to determine if it's a good temporary alternative to Photoshop until CS3 is released. I'm having issues in Illustrator and Photoshop where If I have them both open at the same time it causes one to crash. Also I can't upgrade to 10.4.8 because there is an issue with Pathfinder in Illustrator where it would cause Crashing.

10.4.8 has some real Rosetta improvements. If Pathfinder has problems with 10.4.8, perhaps you should check for an update.

Check out GimpShop: the Gimp with a Photoshop interface.

I forgot to mention that I have this installed on an Intel Mac.
