Looking for suggestions on what others have possibly
purchased, want to replace stock 10GB hard drive in Pismo.
Also, exactly what type of interface is needed: ATA-5.
ATA-6, etc. I thought I read somewhere that the
Pismo had a particular requirement.

IDE, EIDE, ATA, PATA, ATA-5, ATA-6... all the same thing. And the type you need.
I don't know of any particular drive requirement for the Pismo, but it may have a 137GB drive limit due to the older controller.

I popped in a 100gb 5400 speed hard drive, and couldn't be happier. It will be a nice improvement!

Seagate 120gb works great.
You can find one under $100.

Anything under 120/137GB will work. Don't bother with a 160 or 200 or 300.
