Why are there special radeon cards for the cube? I'm worried that supply of newer cards will dwindle if Apple EOL:s the Cube.

At the apple website it says you can buy the radeon upgrade kit for wither cube or powermac g4.

It doesnt ask you to specify which model you have, so I assume you can buy the same card for either?

Im looking at buying a cube right now (ex demo stock, good price) and I am hoping I can buy the radeon upgrade kit further down the track.

I can cant I?

The cube card is a different size than the standard one. it has to be smaller. The reason apple is only selling one card is that the cube card will work in the G4 also. I have a fan on my Radeon for my G4.
