How to record Video on my MacBook?!

so how can i record video with my macbook. i need to send some video of myself in to a casting service and was needing to use my macbooks video option, but i cant find anyway to record video?? where do i go?

Specifically, open iMovie, set the little switch just next to the transport controls (play, forward, back) to the left for camera, and click "Record with iSight".

If you have 20 bucks to spare, you could just download Quicktime Pro... my friend gave me a copy, it allows you to record right into quicktime, and saves the little quicktime files onto your desktop. I find it to be a lot easier than using iMovie.

i got it! yea! imovie was relatively easy once you knew what to do.
one more question y'all!! is there an app or website or antyhin to get a template to print a jewel cd case cover....
