Aloha all, does anyone know how to add the numbers (little white numbers in a dark oval, like after Podcasts) to the other categories like music, TV shows, movies etc.? I have searched and searched but can't find info on how to do this. Is it even possible? I would really like to be able to see at a glance how many songs, movies I have. Mahalo in advance for any tips/info/suggestions. JB

Look at the 'status bar' on the bottom of the iTunes window. It changes with whatever is selected in the Source Pane.

Mahalo for reply, I know about the info at the bottom but I want to find a way to display the numbers in the sidebar.

The numbers next to podcasts is the number of those you have not yet seen/heard – much like the number of unread messages in Mail. That's not displayed for your music, probably because the authors of iTunes thought music is not heard because it's new or not yet listened to, but it is heard because you feel like it.

So the answer is, you can't add numbers to the sidebar.
