Hi, everyone! I'm trying to create individual playlists for each of the albums in my iTunes library. I have nearly thirty days worth of music, most of which is whole albums. Is there any command or tool for creating individual playlists from each album, or must I manually create a playlist via drag and dop for each album? This wouldn't be so bad, if everytime I dragged something from coverflow to the playlist column, the scroll bar didn't go to the bottom with the playlist I just added. Ugh... Any advice or suggestions? Thanks!

What's wrong with sorting by album?

Or just typing in an album name and having the quick search do this? Creating playlists for every album when you have 30 days worth of music sounds like a hopelessly worthless exercise.

I have everything in lossless format, and it won't all fit on my iPod. It's just easier to go in and check and uncheck playlists than dragging and dropping everything to my iPod. I was maintaining two libraries...one with lossless and one with 224kbps AAC (everything fit on the iPod), but that's turned out to be more effort than it's worth. Now I've decided to just not carry everything in my player.

I think it would be easier, less cluttered, and more sensible to just turn off automatic sync and set the iPod to manual...at least, that's what I do, for similar reasons.

It never ceases to amaze me the lengths people go to abuse the playlists and ignore the Browse feature in iTunes.

Wataru,
Would you care to elaborate upon your comment to explain how the browse feature would help with my problem?
