Can the Airport Express be used as a wireless bridge? I want the airport express to connect wirelessly to the wifi signals that blankets my city.

No ideas on this topic. I decided to buy it anyway as my netgear router is starting to suck.

The Airport Express cannot act as a bridge by itself. If it is used to extend an Airport Network, THEN it will work as a bridge.

However, if it is just a client on another network, then all you can use if for is printer sharing, and as a remote speaker output (AirTunes).
Too many Apple/Mac products to even bother listing!

I think what he's asking is if the APX can be used as a repeater. It can, as long as it's part of a WDS. From what he said initially, his situation does not seem like a WDS situation.
