When Apple launched iTunes Plus, I was very excited. Now, here we are months later, and from what I can tell, not a single new track has been added. Heck, we still don't have some EMU stuff like Bloc Party.

Is anyone else generally disappointed with iTunes Plus?

It's not about Apple, it's about the licensors. They're waiting to see what happens-and some of them expect all that EMI music to wind up pirated everywhere. That it hasn't happened yet (and really won't happen because of iTunes Plus) is a complete negation of the music industry's fear that everyone with a computer is a music pirate. Their minds won't change easily or quickly, and frankly EMI took a big risk with this. Give it time.

Just a quick check, I noticed some new releases on the iTunes Plus section.

However, I do want to see the sales rate for iTunes Plus tracks.

From the above-linked press release...

In late May 2007, iTunes launched EMI’s DRM free products on iTunes plus. Early revenue indications for this initiative are encouraging.
I think the "give it time" approach is best. I, for one, "upgraded my library" to the iTunes Plus version of available tracks and when browsing for new music search through the iTunes Plus section first.
