A friend needs her 17inch powerbook battery charged as her laptop wont charge and she needs some info from it. I have a 15inch last revision Powerbook. Hers i think is the revision previous to mine.

Will i be able to charge her battery in my machine without damaging anything?

Yes. The PowerBook G4 AC adapter is interchangeable between all models.

Well, for one thing, it won't fit. They're completely different batteries for the two machines.
