I have a Referbished Mac Pro 3.0 Quad that I got about a month ago. I went to Apple and had them install the airport and bluetooth cards since it didn't come with them. Everything has been working fine until yesterday. Now my Mac Pro is having trouble logging onto my network... and when it does finally log on it's painfully slow. I have a G5, Titanium and Powerbook and they all seem to be working just fine. Could my airport card be bad??
Mac Pro Quad 3.0GHz Intel, 2GB, 250HD, ATI Radeon X1900 XT
30" Apple Cinema HD Display.
12" Powerbook 1 GHz

That may be your problem. If it's the original ABS I'm surprised it's still working. The original units had some sort of hardware defect that caused many of them to die prematurely. I'd think about a new router. They're dirt cheap and much faster now.

huummm I've been thinking about getting a new one. Why would the Mac Pro be the only one that is having a problem with it?
