just watched the video.
10.5 looks like the "glossy imac" of mac os'es...lots of gimmicks (with some good ideas underneath).
time machine, for instance...a big show to find a missing file.
stacks. (at least, you can choose 'grid').
the templates in Mail.
the new '3D' dock (i hide mine anyway).
the finder's 'coverflow' thing; nice ideas, but i can also READ the names of my files.
and hey, can i hide my porn (well, if i had any) when scrolling thru images?

some of leopard seems like ways to make us use our brains less (not sure that's a good thing).

anyway, for me, i am looking forward to the underlying things, to speed, stability/
my main concern is my APPS; the os should support that.

just hope the eye candy in 10.5 doesn't distract from work.
and, yes, just my 2cents, in advance of friday's arrival... (am poking self...)

This is exactly what I said about 10.0 when IT came out... But thinking back, it made me work tons faster.

yeah, i've been reading thru the '300+ new features', and there's a lot to look forward to.
and seems that the dock on the side has a non-3d shelf option.

anyway, anxious to install, run with it, see how it feels...
