I have a powermac B&W G3 350 with modem problems. It's an internal Global Village 56k modem that suddenly cannont be found by the system. I've tried trashing my modem prefs, putting in a new modem, (another GV 56k) reinstalling the GV software & drivers and even doing a clean reinstallation of 9.1, but still no response.

I have the feeling i'm missing something though. Anyone out there have similar trouble?

Will you send me yours to try out? :-)

No, I haven't tried it in another machine. That sounds like a logical troubleshooting method.
