I just purchased a 24" iMac and am loving it.

One question -- is there a way to downgrade the resolution to something between the standard 1920x1200 to the 1600x1024 (I think) that I had on my old Cinema Display?

The next "supported" resolution is waaaay down to 1344x840 and that looks horrible.

I fear I will end up having to make everything 16+ point fonts and such, which is going to be a pain in the ar--e.

Any ideas/haxies/programs to do this?

Anything less than 1920x1200 (except 960x600) is going to be fuzzy.

You can change to an arbitrary resolution with SwitchResX.

Roger that - I found SwitchResX right after I posted. Well, as it turns out, I'm doing okay, it's just a "leap forward" for me from where I used to be. Growing pains and such.
