I have an old Titanium gathering dust in the basement for about 3 years now and as it turns out the screen had gone bad. The screen is very dark and all I can make out are shades of icons and folders. Therefore, I can't navigate to anything.

If i get a cinema display to connect the TiBook to, do I just connect it to the display via DVI and that's it? Or do I need go set up the TiBook first, perhaps through the Preference menu? If so, what are the steps? And are there keyboard stroke equivalent since I can't really see anything on the screen?

TiBook is running Tiger, if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

You can just connect it and it'll show up, although most likely not at the proper resolution.
