LOS ANGELES - Harvey Korman, the tall, versatile comedian who won four Emmys for his outrageously funny contributions to “The Carol Burnett Show” and on the big screen in “Blazing Saddles,” died Thursday. He was 81.
He was one main reasons why the Carol Burnett show was so funny. Between him and Tim Conway, I was left in stitches.

He was very funny. I imagine a lot of the younger folk here have never heard of him though (and that's a pity).

What a shame. He was a hilarious comedian, and I remember watching "The Carol Burnett" show and always thought he was funny as hell.
RIP.

He and Tim Conway were a naturally great comedic pair.

Tagart: What do you want me to do, sir?
Hedley Lamarr: I want you to round up every vicious criminal and gunslinger in the west. Take this down.
[Taggart looks for a pen and paper while Hedley talks]
Hedley Lamarr: I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, ****-kickers and Methodists.
Taggart: [finding pen and paper] Could you repeat that, sir?

"That's HEDLEY!!!" An awful shame. Harvey was one of the people who defined "comic genius."

Am I the only one rather supriesed he was still alive (until, obviously, quite recently). He seemed like an old guy on the Carol Burnett show.

I could watch Tim Conway try and crack up Korman on the CB Show all day.
