I am not sure if this is the right place as I cannot tell if it is my airport, printer or laptop that is the problem. This may need to be in the NEtworking section, I am not sure. My apologies if it is in the wrong place.

I have my printer connected to my g5 workstation, sharing turned on.

I have an airport extreme base station providing a wireless network.

I can connect fine on my G4 laptop to my G5 and the internet.

The laptop can see the printer.

When I go to print the printer status opens and finds the printer, but nothing happens. Under the line in the printer status monitor it says "Unable to get printer status (Forbidden)!"

The printer is a Canon i9900.

Both machines are running 10.5.4

Any ideas are welcome!

Thanks in advance!
