Hi,
in the past week or so, dust has been getting inside my iPhone, between the touch screen and the LCD and is now scattered across the display (annoying rather than damaging... I hope). Does anyone have any experience of getting the iPhone cleaned at an Apple Store if this has happened to them?
TIA

P.S. Also seems like a bad design flaw (or a fault in the assembly of mine) for a touchscreen phone... is this a rare, one off or are others experiencing the same issue?

I had dust under my screen a few months ago. I didn't care at first, but soon got obsessed. Eventually, I made an appointment with the Apple genius and they exchanged it without debate. He saw the dust and said "all I can do is give you a replacement." I said "Deal!" and that was it.
It was a pain-free experience; if you go down this same route, I hope it's as easy for you to exchange as it was for me.

My first iPod touch had a little dust under the screen, but the second one hasn't got any. I think it gets in through the Dock connector.
