I thought that all the nerds switched to Digg years ago.

Please, Digg is the intellectually impaired Slashdot.

I'm still seeing the summaries. If you click the customize link, under sections you have the option to say whether you want some or all things to be shown in full or just as headlines. Maybe that's what happened?

Ah, I guess it was a bug that was around for in the morning - everything's back to normal now. I noticed they're really revamping the user section.

Yeah, is there something wrong with that?

The guy asks a simple question and he has to defend his reading preferences... Yeesh!

Hey, I'm still registered at Slashdot. I just stopped reading it when I tired of the lazily put together blurbs, factual errors and endless bickering.

That's okay, besson. Thank you for sticking up for me though. Helps after the really bad day I had.

Where do the rest of you go for tech news (other than Digg)?

I don't go to Digg. I like holding onto my sanity.

CNET News.com was good until a few months ago when it turned into a series of blogs. Now I get a lot of my tech news from the New York Times/International Herald Tribune and the Wall Street Journal.

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.
